Benajah or Benaijah Storey, VT line, Anne W19115, sol was b in 1747, & stated his birth record was in Norwich, CT, sol lived at Bennington, VT at enl. Sol appl 24 Sep 1832 Cortland Co NY, sol married Anne Tubbs 22 Nov 1771 at Bennington, VT. Sol d. 8 feb 1842 at Cortlandville, NY & his widow appl there 23 Feb 1842 aged 86. On 23 Feb 1842, a Stephen & Polly Story, both age 56, made aff’dt in Cortland Co, NY , sol’s & wid’s children were: Samuel b 30 may 1772, James b 1 Dec 1773, John b 16 Mar 1775, Elijah b 31 oct 1776, & d 23 Sep 1777, Hannah b 11 may 1778, Abijah b 14 Sep 1779, Marrianne b 13 Apr 1781, Lovine b 17 May 1782, Lois b 18 Jan 1784, Stephen b 2 Nov 1785, Polly, b 11 may 1787, Lucy b 5 Oct 1788, Salla b 26 Jan 1790, Joseph b 3 Sep 1791, & d 14 Jul 1794, Deborah ? "blurred", Daniel b 9 May 1795 & d 17 Mar 1796, & Plinney b 28 Jun 1796 & d 18 dec 1807.
Daniel Story NJ line, S836, appl 11 Sep 1832 Middlesex, NJ. Sol was b 6 Aug 1755 at Cranbury, NJ & he lived in South amboy Twnshp NJ at enl. He referred to having served as a sub for brother Joseph Story who was dec’d in 1832 & also stated a brother (not named) had his father’s family bible in Monmouth Co NJ.
Daniel Story VA line, R10233, (also see N>A> Acc #874 #050169 not ½ pay), appl 16 Aug 1832, Henderson Co TN, aged 72. Sol lived in Southhampton Co, VA at enl & after the Rev moved to NC then to TN.
Elisha Story Cont & MA line, Mehetabel or Mehitable, W13928, the Rev sol Dr. Elisha Story m Miss Mehitable Pedrick 29 Nov 1778 ( they were m by Rev Isaac Story in Marblehead MA), sol d 27 Aug 1805. Wid appl 13 Mar 1839 at Boston, MA aged 80. Sol died at Marblehead, MA. Wid d 9 Aug 1847 at Boston, MA leaving children: Kitty Fettyplace, Isaac Story, Eliza White, Charlotte Forester, Caroline Story, E. Adeline Mansfiled & Franklin H. Story who were living on 22 Oct 1850. The son Franklin H. Story was exc'’ of his mother'’ estate at Boston, MA on 22 Oct 1850 ( wid had lived at Boston for 14 years). Sol's & wid’s son, Joseph D. Story, was of Cambridge, MA in 1839, in 1843 William Fettyplace was of Boston, MA, in 1843, the following was shown but not confirmed, to wit; Joseph Story was b 18 Sep 1779 & was Assoc Justice of the Supreme Court from 1811 until his death 10 Sep 1845 & it was also shown that Dr. Elish Story was b 3 Dec 1743 At Boston, MA & d 27 Aug 1805 at Marblehead, MA & he m 2nd to Mihitable Pedrick 2 Dec 1778.
Henry Story MA line, S33735, appl 13 Mar 1819 Essex Co MA, sol enl at Cambridge, MA & also srv with Nathaniel Story (no kinship given) who was of Essex MA in 1819.
Henry Storey SC line, S33737, sol was b in SC & lived there until Dec 1817 when he atarted for AL where he lived on Canoe Creek, a branch of the Coosa River in AL. In Oct 1820, he moved to Greene Co AL where he appl 20 Sep 1832, sol was b 21 Jun 1757, in what later became Nnewberry Dist SC. He lived with his father, George Storey in Spartanburg Dist SC during the Rev.
James Story MA line, Sarah, W3732, appl 3 Apr 1818 Essex Co MA. In 1820 sol was aged 58 witha wife aged 54 & children at home; David 19, Martha 17, Elizabeth 14, Mary 12, & Judith aged 98 (?). Sol m Judith Woodbury 5 Nov 1786, at Ipswich, MA. Sol d 16 Dec 1851. Wid appl 24 Mar 1852 Essex Co MA, aged 85.
John Story CT line & Cont line, S15657, appl 26 Feb 1833 Jefferson CO NY, aged 84. On 17 Sep 1835, sol had moved to Portage Co OH to live with his 3 sons having previously lived with a son-in-law. Sol d 13 Jun 1839 leaving children of which a son, Freedom Story, made affd’t 288 Oct 1850 in Lorinn Co OH ( the other children were not named in the claim).
John Story NJ Line, Sarah, W995, 501 was b 1 Dec 1744 & he m Sarah Leake 7 Jan 1776 at Cranbury NJ & she was b 26 Feb 1757, sol d 1 Apr 1802 & his wid appl 24 Apr 1848 Mercer Co NJ, an Isaac Story, Esq made aff'dt 29 Dec 1849 in Middlesex Co NJ & he stated sol's wid Sarah d 11 Mar 1849 at Princeton NJ leaving only 1 child, on 29 Dec 1849 one Jacob Gulick, Esq. of Mercer Co NJ stated he was was adm'r of 501's & wid's dec'd son Joseph Story about 1st of Mar 1817, wid had d leaving only a daughter Lydia Gulick surviving her
