THOMAS F. STORY was a private in the army of the CSA; he enlisted 03
Mar 1862 in Milam Co., TX in the 12th Texas Infantry, Company F.,
detailed wagoner. He was a member of Co F, 8 Texas Infantry, Young's
Regt. Wounded at Jenkins' Ferry 30 Apr 1864

Re: letter from the War Department, Wash., D.C. to the Commissioner of
Pensions, State of Texas, Austin, dated 15 Aug 1912 which returns the
Widows Application.
"Co. F, Young's Regiment also known as the 12th and as the 8th Texas
Infantry, CSA, enlisted March 3, 1862 on the roll for January and
Feburary, 1864, last on file he is reported present."
