The Storeys of Old

Published in 1920, "The Storey’s of Old" is a 400 page book which gives "historical, biographical and genealogical observations on the Storey and Story family". Its main focus is on the Storey, Story, and Storie families that lived in the northern English counties of Northumberland, Cumberland, Durham and Westmorland during the period from c1400 to c1900. It also gives information on some of the more prominent American Story families such as Justice Joseph Story.

The "Storeys of Old" is now available on-line at www.storeysofold.com. Thanks to Brad Storey of Australia for making this possible!

This book is out of print and very hard to find. It is known to be located at libraries in Carlisle, England and Fort Wayne, Indiana. A few Story researchers have a copy of the book and have offered to do lookups or provide reproductions.
