Viscountess Lydia Sophia Story Dillon

Here's an exciting "IMAGE" of Lydia Sophia Story (Viscountess Dillon) who married Charles Henry Lee-Dillon, 14th Viscount Dillon, County Louth, Ireland on 12th February 1833. They had two daughters - Etheldred Florence Lee-Dillon & Geraldine Francis Lee-Dillon.

She was the daughter of Philip Laycock Story of Tussmore House, Oxford, England & Lydia his wife, who was the daughter of Sir Francis Baring (Baronet). Her husband, Charles Henry Dillon-Lee, became 14th Viscount Dillon- Lee when his father died on 24th July 1832. Charles Henry is referred to as "of Costello, Gallen, Co. Mayo and of Loughglynn House, Co. Roscommon". He was born at Ely Place, Dublin (20th April, 1810), attended Eton School and was High Sheriff for Oxford in 1857. They had an unfortunate marriage with two early children dying shortly after birth. Lydia Sophia (Story) Dillon died 4th November 1876.
