Crest: A cupid holding an arrow in the dexter hand, and a bow in the sinister hand, at his back a quiver, all proper. [ Burke's General Armory & Fairbairn's Crests ) 3/6 Another unknown STORY: Ermine on a Saltire engrailed sable. a Leonard's Face or [ Burke's General Armory.] 3/7 On 16-8-1979 the Chief Herald in Dublin granted armorial bearings to the descendants of Joseph STOREY (1821-1891) of Monasterevan, Co. Kildare, Ireland: Or three Galleys sable, sails set and oars in action. within an Orle of eight Oak Leaves vert. Crest: In front of a closed book vert, edged or, two quill pens in saltire sable. RIGBYE (Preston, 1920) This book includes the result of a General Search in the Records of the Heralds' College, London, by Somerset Herald in April, 1909. 50 records were found - pedigrees, changes of name etc. Some refer only to Crests but some were records of shields, and these have been included above.
